Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana on Thursday met with Sean Diddy Combs, American hip hop mogul, in Los Angeles, California.
Falz, who has courted controversy over his ‘This is Nigeria’ single, shared videos from their meeting on Instagram.
He wrote: “So blessed to tap from @diddy ’s wealth of knowledge!! Vibes on vibes.”
The comic-actor also gave Diddy a Yoruba moniker, ‘Oluwadiddy’.
“New name alert. Oluwadiddy,” he wrote.
Following the release of ‘This is Nigeria’, Diddy was one of the first high profile personalities to praise Falz for the song.
Reacting to the video of the song, Diddy, owner of Revolt TV and Bad Boy Records, had posted a short clip on his Instagram page.
Diddy praised Nigerian artistes for “changing the game”.
“Sending love to Nigeria. So many great, beautiful artist[es] changing the game,” he wrote.
Like Falz, Wizkid recently met with Diddy in the US.
After their meeting, the Starboy was signed as an ambassador for Ciroc, a vodka brand which Diddy has a significant stake in.
