Charles Inojie, the Nollywood actor, has escaped unhurt after a water tank fell on the canopy at his Lagos residence.
The actor took to his Instagram page on Friday to recount his near-death encounter.
In the video, a busted tank can be seen on the ground gushing out water beside a crushed canopy.
Also, another tank is seen hanging on the rooftop of the building wherein water is leaking to the ground.
Speaking behind the camera, the 52-year-old said it was “barely three minutes” since he left his seat that the water tank “came crashing down exactly where I sat”.
“I was seated under this canopy. Barely three minutes after I left, the overhead tank came crashing down exactly where I sat. God no too much? God too much. Who no know God, hin no know wetin…” he said.

“Again, God came through for me to the devil’s utter disgrace,” he wrote in the caption.
The movie star began his career after he obtained a certificate course in dramatic arts from the University of Port Harcourt in 1999.
Inojie is also famous for his role in ‘The Johnsons’, the comic telenovela which focuses on the average Nigerian family in Lagos.
The actor has been featured in a plethora of movies including ‘Aki and PawPaw’, ‘Officer Amadi’, ‘My Village People’, and ‘City Hustlers’.
