Erica Nlewedim, the 2020 BBNaija housemate, has called out a staff of a yet-to-be-identified airport for allegedly downgrading her ticket from business to economy class without her consent.

While causing a scene at the airport, the reality TV star said she initially tried to resolve the issue calmly.

Erica said she, however, went live on Instagram after the staff allegedly failed to explain the ticket change and called a uniformed officer on her.

She also claimed the officials tried to intimidate her and threatened to seize her phone.

In the footage, the reality star was surrounded by airport staff and men in uniform trying to pacify her.

Erice demanded that her ticket be reverted to business class while reminding the staff that thousands of her followers were witnessing the livestream.

“His name is Stanley, British Airways. I paid for business class and he is trying to downgrade me to economy and I did not come late. Was I recording before? No I was not recording. I was on my own, you called a uniformed person on me telling me I was recording. Okay now, I am going to record,” she said.

“Even if you guys want to do anything to me if you want to shoot me, everybody can see what you’re doing. Let me see what you guys want to do.

“You have not seen the mad side of me in four years and now it’s out. I’ve been nice since and the niceness isn’t getting me anywhere but now I have to be nasty.

“Don’t bring problems my way and I won’t bring problems your way. Now you’re telling me, please. I came here all nice and you told me that you wanted to put me on economy. What the fuck? Did you all not collect the money? Give me what I paid for.”

As of the time of this report, British Airways has yet to comment on the matter.

Erica was one of the most-talked-about housemates during BBNaija’s fifth edition titled ‘Lockdown’.

The 26-year-old was disqualified from the show after she got involved in a confrontation with Laycon, the edition’s eventual winner.
