The festival kicked off with explosive sets from J Hus, Shallipopi, Tiakola, and Gabzy, setting the perfect vibe for the night.

Shallipopi got the crowd hyped with a lively performance of his hit ‘Laho,’ bringing his siblings and fellow artistes on stage for an unforgettable moment.

However, it was Davido who truly stole the show, treating fans to a career-spanning setlist that included fan favorites like ‘Dami Duro,’ ‘Aye,’ ‘If,’ ‘Fall,’ and ‘Fia’.

Unfortunately, fast-rising singer Qing Madi had to cancel her performance due to unforeseen circumstances.

She took to Instagram to express her disappointment.

“I’m sad to inform everyone about this, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be performing at Afronation today. My deepest apologies to all my Qings who came to see me from different places I will be back. Love you always,” she wrote.

The festival continues on Thursday with a highly anticipated performance by Nigerian songstress Tems, alongside other international acts.

Afro Nation 2025 will wrap up on Friday with headline performances from Burna Boy, Booba, Dexta Daps, and Kamo Mphela.
