Christ Bearer, a US rapper, has finally tied the knot with his fiance — nearly six years after he severed his penis in a suicide attempt.
The former Wu-Tang affiliated singer and Cheryl, his partner, reportedly wedded on Monday in what was described as a “super-small ceremony.”
According to TMZ, Bearer said he had dated Cheryl for 6 months but they’ve known each other for even longer prior to their marriage.
The rapper also said his new wife keeps him grounded and focused on his work, and she has been his support system ever since his “painful penis incident.”
In 2014, Bearer had jumped from a Los Angeles apartment building in a suicide attempt after severing his own manhood following what was described as a mental breakdown.
At the time, he was reported to have been under the influence of a mind-altering drug called PCP and was mad about the restraining orders keeping him from seeing his children.
Bearer was later rushed to the hospital where doctors attempted to reattach his manhood.
But on the wedding night, on December 30, the rapper said it was functional.
Meanwhile, TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported how Bobrisky, a self-acclaimed Nigerian transgender, claimed to have severed his genitals to enhance his feminine appearance.
“Okay, let me help you all. Those of you asking where is my [manhood], I don cut am since. What will a fine girl like me be doing with gbola (manhood)? I hope I’ve answered your question,” he had said.
