Uche Odoputa, the Nollywood actor, has once again lamented the abduction of his father about four months ago.
On May 11, the film star revealed that Kenneth Odoputa, his father, had been abducted by suspected gunmen inside Osu town, Imo state.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actor said no one has gotten any information about his father since his abduction.
Uche disclosed that he doesn’t know if his father is still alive or dead.
The 52-year-old actor also lamented the rising cases of abduction in Imo state, describing the trend as “very sad and heartbreaking”.
“It’s really very sad and heartbreaking how under the watch of one government my state “Imo” has lost more person’s now than we ever did during the civil war including my father Mr Kenneth Odoputa who has been taken away for 4 months now without any information dead/alive and no one is saying anything about it hmmm #prayerforImostate,” he wrote.

In June, Uche penned a touching note to his father on the occasion of this year’s Father’s Day.
“They may have taken you from us my honest man as you are called by all. My hero, I don’t know if I will ever see you soon but no matter what, papa Uchenna you will always live in us,” he had written.
“We love you so much and miss you greatly. Happy fathers day my father/friend.”
