The Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) has debuted a film highlighting its fight against smuggling in the country.

In a recent post on X, the agency shared over two-minute footage of scenes from the film titled ‘Beyond the Badge’.

The film captures the tale of the bravery and challenges of officers in their fight against smuggling.

“The Nigeria Customs Service debuts “Beyond the Badge,” a blockbuster gripping movie highlighting the bravery and challenges of customs officers in the fight against smuggling,” the post by customs reads.

The movie narrates the story of an undercover officer who infiltrated a notorious gang of kidnappers.

While applauded for his gallantry in bringing down their kingpin, the wife of the customs officer was later kidnapped.

The film focuses on love, dedication, acts of service, and faith.

The movie featured a plethora of prominent and emerging Nollywood actors including Francis Duru and Ray Adeka.

‘Beyond the Badge’ was produced by Agozie Ugwu. The release date of the film was, however, not disclosed.

Customs is an agency of the government established under the supervisory oversight of the ministry of finance.

Its responsibilities include collecting customs revenue, facilitating national and international trade, and providing anti-smuggling and security activities.
