Ajeyemi, who is also an actor, had recently marked his birthday.

On Wednesday, Toyin also took to her Instagram page to flaunt a Lexus sport utility vehicle (SUV) acquired by her husband shortly after his birthday.

“Let me show off small. Congratulations Baba mi @kolawoleajeyemi opor,” she wrote.

However, some Instagram users had jumped on the comment section of the post to allude that Toyin was the brain behind the gift.

In a follow-up post, the actress slammed those who think she is richer than her husband because of her popularity.

“I don’t usually do this and I am only going to address this just once and I hope this ends here,” she wrote in the now-deleted post.

“People need to stop this mentality that famous people or the more famous ones are the richest in their family, relationships or even friendships.

“Just because some people do not like to blow their own horns doesn’t mean they should be seen as less or incapable.”

Toyin also warned critics that she would not tolerate any attempt to talk down on her husband who she said: “is a very hard working man and is doing a lot for me and the kids.”

“I’m speaking up because I won’t let people talk down on my husband who is a very hard working man and is doing a lot for me and the kids. Do not ridicule his hard work and what he stands for,” she added.

“Everything he has, he’s worked for with his own sweat and he deserves it.

“I am the last born of my family and you’d think I’m the richest just because I’m famous which is far from the truth.

“It is 2022 please, we need to do better and stop this ill mannered mentality.

“Celebrate people without trying to pitch them against another person or ridicule their hard work or give credit to another. It’s so old and needs to stop.”

Kolawole also aimed a dig at his critics in an Instagram post on Thursday.

“This year bad and fake people will die on top my matter because una never see anything yet. My God is at work,” he wrote.

The couple had their traditional engagement in July 2019 and welcomed their first child in August the same year.
