Tributes have been pouring in social media for Tosyn Bucknor, an on-air-personality and entertainer who died on Monday.
The sensational OAP, who had sickle cell disease, was found dead by husband, Aurelien Boyer.
While some of her fans are still in shock over her sudden death, her colleagues have described her as someone who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
“You changed the energy level on radio and made so many people fall in love with the profession, your energy was infectious,” a fan tweeted.
Below are tributes to the media personality popularly called ‘area mama’ and ‘the voice of Lagos’.

There are some people you meet and you instantly love because they have the type of personality that sucks you into full happiness.
That was Tosyn. Every single time.

Tosyn Bucknor! This hurts, again. But I’m glad I met you. One of the very few media personalities in Nigeria that I looked up to. Her humility humbles you. She was an Icon but very accessible and willing to help. We have lost a gem. Rest is peace, Tosyn. Just rest. 😨😓😓😓 pic.twitter.com/Stz4jDdahs

Tosyn Bucknor lived life to the fullest, and put in her very best to enjoy every minute, and see that those around her had fun too.
She sang, and danced, and partied, and worked, and wrote. She smiled a lot, and talked a lot more.
May her happy soul rest eternally. pic.twitter.com/zpTq5K900r

You will continue to inspire me even in death.
I didn't know that @ELSiEiSY's media event would be the last time we'd chat. Maybe I'd have hugged you tighter and longer.
Rest well, Comrade.
