Tobi Adegboyega, the UK-based Nigerian pastor of SPAC Nation, has gifted Ojo Arowosafe, the ace Yoruba actor better known as Fadeyi Oloro, the sum of N3 million.

The ace actor has been battling an undisclosed ailment for a while now.

On Thursday, Fadeyi was featured in a live Instagram session with Daddy Freeze, the media personality.

During the session, the movie star appealed to the public for financial assistance in order to foot his medical bills.

In his reaction, Adegboyega, who also graced the session, announced he would support the actor with N3 million.

The cleric described Fadeyi as one of Africa’s icons who promoted the continent with his spectacular performances in movies.

“We watched him while growing up and he is one of our major legends in Africa. We thank you for the great works you’ve done to promote Nigeria and Africa. I’m giving him N3 million,” he said.

In a follow-up post on Friday, Freeze announced that the clergyman has sent the money to the actor as promised.

The on-air personality (OAP) also said an additional N261,000 was raised by other persons to support the movie star.

“The N3 million @tobiadegboyega_ sent to Fadeyi Oloro has been remitted to the family, along with an additional N261,000 raised. Thank you PT for being a friend and brother,” he wrote.

The ace actor, who hails from Igbra-Odo in Ekiti, has featured in hundreds of Yoruba movies like ‘Alagbara Ilu’, ‘Jagun Ina’, ‘Inu Bibi’, ‘IJA Abija’, ‘Osimi Ika’, ‘Adani Lori’, ‘Fitu Fona’, ‘Ruke Rudo’, ‘Bola Ele’, and ‘Ade Ogun’ among others.

In December 2021, the coalition for a better Nigeria called on well-meaning Nigerians to support the Yoruba actor in salvaging his ailing health.
