The post comes a few days after Savage’s petition to Fayoade Adegoke, the Lagos commissioner of police, alleging that Davido, her colleague, threatened to assault her.

“I therefore would like to make this complaint and to state that in the event that anything untoward or harmful were to happen to me or any member of my family, I will like the members of the Nigerian Police Force to hold MR. DAVID ADELEKE responsible,” she wrote in the petition.

Last year, the singer raised an alarm about individuals attempting to break into her residence, leading to the apprehension of the suspects at the Ikoyi police station.

Her music has gained reception globally and has also won numerous awards.

In October 2023, the singer postponed a UK show due to her battle with a virus.

Recently, Savage announced the upcoming release of  ‘Water and Garri’, her new movie, on Prime Video in 240 countries.
