Timini Egbuson, the Nigerian actor, says he is taking a break from acting.

The actor in a recent podcast interview with Kamsi Nnamani, the content creator, said he has been working tirelessly for 14 years with minimal sleep and breaks.

He also announced his plan for a sabbatical next year.

“I only rest when I go out at night. I only sleep five hours to six hours a day. And then keep the work going. But next year I am going on a sabbatical. I have been acting for the past fourteen years consistently,” he said.

“There has never been a downtime or a time when I am just chilling. And I did not say that with pride. I say that with all humility. It has just been God.”

Timini made his acting debut in 2010 on Tinsel, an M-Net soap opera.

He has since appeared in a plethora of hit movies such as ‘Breaded Life’, ‘Elevator Baby’, ‘Introducing the Kuju’s’, ‘Dinner At My Place’, and ‘A Tribe Called Judah’.

In 2019, Timini stated that one of the things he enjoys in his acting career is the opportunity to kiss “amazing” ladies.

“The best part of my job is that I do actually get to kiss amazing people. I have kissed Sharon Oja, I have kissed Jemima Osunde, I have kissed Bukola Oladipupo. I have blown,” he said.

The actor has earned numerous nominations and awards throughout his career.
