‘The Two Aishas’, a Kannywood film, has screened in Lagos ahead of its cinema debut.
The movie, to be released on April 24, follows the story of two women who are married to two best friends.
Their friendship got tested and, no matter how they look at it, one party felt robbed and betrayed by the other.
This threatens to tear apart an enduring friendship from childhood and test their religious faith.
The new title pits two characters, played by actresses Rahama Sadau and Maryam Booth, against each other.
‘The Two Aishas’ addresses relatable themes such as forgiveness, betrayal, love, rivalry, and piousness.
Among the actors featured in the new film are Paul Utomi, Akeem Ogara, and Shushu Abubakar.
