Terra Kulture, art, culture, lifestyle and educational centre, is set to launch a privately-owned modern arts theatre, TheCable Lifestyle can report.
According to the management of the arts centre, the 400-seater state-of-the-art theatre “will be the first of its kind in Nigeria.”
The theatre will also serve as a movie screening venue.
Bolanle Austen-Peters, Terra Kulture CEO, is at the helm of the new project.
For many years, Terra Kulture has developed a reputation as the go-to hub for stage productions by both local and international companies.
The theatre will be launched Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19.
After its launch, it will play host a range of shows, plays and musicals.
Terra Kulture is also consulting for the Lagos state government to build additional theatres across the state as part of Governor AKinwumi Ambode’s initiative to create employment for the youth.
