Teni Apata, the Nigerian singer, has taken to social media to flaunt her new look.
In an Instagram post, the ‘Hustle’ crooner shared photos of herself with popular entertainers including Phyno and Broda Shaggi.
Teni also bragged about her new look in a terse note accompanying the photos.
“[It] cost(s) money to look like me,” she wrote.
She, however, did not provide details about her meeting with her fellow entertainers.
The music star was in the news recently after claiming she lost 75 pounds (34kg) body weight without undergoing surgery.
She had also blasted those doubting her weight loss was natural.
Teni has established herself as a prominent name in the Nigerian music landscape with numerous hit projects.
The singer has also been the subject of controversies on a few occasions.
In October, the ‘Billionaire’ singer was under fire for not bowing to receive an award from President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
Teni is not the first celebrity who has made the headlines over weight loss.
In June, Eniola Badmus slammed an Instagram user for claiming she once admitted to undergoing a weight loss surgery.
The user’s claim came after Badmus showed off her new body and bragged that she lost weight naturally.
