Photos from the filming of ‘Blood Sisters’, Mo Abudu’s forthcoming crime drama, have emerged.
It was earlier announced that the film director had wrapped up production procedures for the Netflix original.
Produced by EbonyLife Studios, ‘Blood Sisters’ sees Ini Dima-Okojie and Nancy Isime, two Nollywood stars, play the lead roles of two friends, Sarah and Kemi.
The movie follows the story of Sarah who is engaged to her dream man, Kola.
The man turns out to be physically abusive and controlling.
Despite Kemi’s vocal misgivings, Sarah is determined to press on with the wedding.
On the day of the traditional engagement ceremony, tragedy strikes and Kemi accidentally kills Kola.
Fearing that no one will believe that she acted in self-defense, the friends decide to cover up the death, setting off a catastrophic series of events.
Among the actors who starred in the movie apart from Dima-Okojie and Isime are Uche Jombo and Segun Arinze.
Blood Sisters also introduces newcomer Genoveva Umeh who is in the company of A-listers like Deyemi Okanlawon, Wale Ojo, Gabriel Afolayan, Kehinde Bankole, and Daniel Etim Effiong.
Also enlisted are Keppy Ekpenyong-Bassey, Maurice Sam, Ibrahim Suleiman, Toke Makinwa, and Okey Uzoeshi.
