Tacha reacts to Phyna’s N5m saga, says ‘I was offered $20k to sit with man’

Tacha Akide, the reality TV star, has revealed how a man offered her “$20,000 to join his table” at the birthday celebration of AY, the comedian.

Akide opened up about her encounter with the man during an interview with Phyna, another reality star, on Cool FM.

The conversation was on the back of Phyna’s highly contentious N5 million saga.

Phyna previously claimed a man offered her N5 million at a club to sleep with her. She said she dismissed him and offered to transfer the money to him instead.

The reality star’s revelation triggered several reactions on social media, with many users suggesting that she lied.

In her reaction, Tacha also narrated her experience when a man asked her to sit at their table “with an offer of $20,000”.

She said the incident occurred at AY’s birthday party two years ago.

The radio host implied that she refused the offer and was hesitant due to concerns about following the man home after the party.

“Still me that went for AY Live birthday, I think two years ago, and my road manager came to me to say, ‘A guy said he is going to give you $20,000 if you come to his table.’ I was like, ‘Omo, I no really understand because after I go there, I have to be following you home’,” she said.

Tacha gained fame after she participated in the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

She has since established herself as an influencer and radio host in the entertainment industry.
