­Terry Akewe, the Starboy singer better known as Terri, has opened up on struggling with ulcer complications.

The music star also disclosed that he is battling an anxiety-related health condition.

In a series of posts on X, Terri revealed his challenges since beginning his music career.

He said aside from his health problems, his mum is also “losing her mind”.

Terri said he had to sacrifice his education to pursue music.

He further said he has “suffered so much cyberbullying” since he started his career.

“Ulcer complications, anxiety issues. In and out of the hospital,” he wrote.

“Crazy hospital bills, mum losing her mind, all for the music. Shit crazy. Jesus never fails, we go win finally.

“Lost friendships, family just trying to find myself. Stanship war and distractions, something I know little or nothing about.

“Please just see Terri for Terri. This is my whole life. Support my craft!

“Since I got in here, suffered so much cyberbullying. All I want to do is sing.

“In 2018, after getting admitted into UNILAG 3 times and not making it cause of finances, I was ready in 2018 to begin study.

“I quit because of this music. I gave my all to it.”

Terri started his music career professionally after he gained the attention of Wizkid with his cover of ‘Oshe’ in 2018.

The young singer was rewarded with a record deal on Wizkid’s Starboy imprint.
