Launched in Nigeria in 2013, Social Media Week is a convergence of Africa’s most innovative minds; thought leaders, entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, and pop culture experts.

Themed ‘Closer’, this year’s event would explore the growing conflict between communality and individualism.

According to the organisers, “the conversation will bring together a diversity of perspectives to discuss the most productive ways to harness these forces to drive innovation, improve consumer experiences and bring people together”.
