During the week, the federal civil service commission released the list of shortlisted candidates, according to states for applications, into federal ministries.

TTT’s eviction and ‘all ado about Bisola’

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Thin Tall Tony (TTT), was evicted from the reality show after getting the least votes. TTT’s eviction came days after he had rejected Biggie’s N1m offer to quit the show early.

Upon his return to Nigeria, everybody wanted to know the deal between him and Bisola, specifically what they were doing under the sheets on one drunken night.

Doctor Allwell’s painful exit

The nation paid keener attention to suicide victims and suicidal persons after Doctor Allwell Orji, who had tried to take his life before, succeeded on his recent attempt.

The medical doctor ended his life by jumping off the Third Mainland bridge. His body was found days ago.

JAMB commences registration

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) opened its official website to prospective candidates of the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to commence their registration.

Bomb scare in Plateau NYSC Camp

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) denied that there was a bomb scare in Jos, Plateau state. Speculation was rife on social media to this effect. The rumour mill had it that a suspect was arrested with explosives, near Zang Commercial College in Bukuru, Jos.
