Adelaja David, the Nigerian singer better known as Pupa Tee, has cried out for financial help to undergo a kidney transplant.
In the past few months, the singer has been repeatedly begging for financial assistance via Instagram.
In one of the posts, Pupa Tee revealed that he has been battling kidney problems for 20 years and has recently started dialysis treatment.
He said he needs financial assistance for a kidney transplant to regain his health.
“For the past 20 years, I have been having kidney issues and kidney complications and I have done different things to overcome this problem but it persists,” he said.
“It recently got so bad that I needed to start dialysis which I have started. I have gone through a series of dialysis and I was told that I need to stay on dialysis to stay healthy.
“It was proposed that for me to have a permanent solution I need a kidney transplant.
“That is why I decided to make this video to call to the public and ask for help and another chance to live.”

Koffi Idowu, the Nigerian comedian, has also rallied support for the ailing singer.
The comedian called on fans and colleagues to support with at least a N2,000 donation to help cover the singer’s medical bill, which is said to be N15 million.
Pupa Tee’s music career when he was an undergraduate at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
He released his debut single titled ‘Oruka’ in 2011.
Pupa Tee has since released other tracks, including ‘Money No Go Disappoint’, ‘Escape’, ‘Confam’, and ‘I’m Obsessed’.
