Sinach, the award-winning Nigerian gospel singer, has reacted to the death of Osinachi Nwachukwu, a fellow musician.
Nwachukwu, who was popular for her collaborative hit track ‘Ekwueme’, died at an Abuja hospital on Friday.
Edwin Alex, the gospel musician, had claimed that she died of throat cancer.
But some social media users alleged that her death was due to domestic violence.
Frank Edwards, another gospel singer, had claimed that Nwachukwu’s death was caused by an “unreasonable human”.
Reacting in a post on her Instagram page on Sunday, Sinach put up a short note wherein she described Nwachukwu as a “good soldier”.
She also prayed for the children and family of the deceased.
“Praying for your children and family. Rest well, good soldier,” she wrote.
