Simi, Nigerian Afropop singer, says having a daughter has made her so vulnerable as she constantly has to worry about the child’s wellbeing.
In a post on her Twitter page on Sunday, the 32-year-old songwriter said that she will always want to protect her daughter at all cost, but the realization that she can’t achieve that will always be a major concern for her.
“Having a daughter has made me so vulnerable. I want her to never be hurt, sad, insecure, in pain, confused or afraid. The fact I won’t always be able to control these things has made me the most vulnerable I’ve ever been in my life,” she wrote.
“I have to be the best example for her. So help me God.”
