PHOTOS: The day Shade Okoya was honoured by UI alumni network in London

Shade Okoya was recently honoured by the University of Ibadan Alumni Global Network in the UK.

The University of Lagos alumnus is the wife of Razaq Okoya, chairman of Eleganza Industries.

The fashionista was bestowed the Inspiring Executive Woman of the Year award at a dinner reception held at the Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair, London.

Sanusi Lamido, emir of Kano and former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), presented the award to Okoya.

Dignitaries present at the event were Walter Carrington, former US ambassador to Nigeria, Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano governor, Adesola Adeduntan, First Bank CEO, George Oguntade, Nigerian ambassador to the UK, among several others.
