Layal, the wife of Seyi, son of President Bola Tinubu, has shared a video of her husband’s 39th birthday celebration.
Born on October 13, 1985, Seyi and his wife marked the occasion with an intimate party attended by close friends at an undisclosed location outside Nigeria.
A video shared on Layal’s Instastories showed the couple dancing, sharing kisses, and enjoying quality time together.
She also captioned the post: “The most amazing weekend celebrating our birthday @seyitinubu”.
The couple tied the knot in 2016 and their union is blessed with two children.
Seyi has been in the spotlight for various reasons since his father got elected into office.
In March, he was criticised on social media platforms after he urged Nigerians to be patient with the current administration.
He had also pleaded with Nigerians to endure the current economic hardship in February.
Seyi, while quoting his dad, said Nigerians need to endure the trying times for “a better future”.
“There is no joy in seeing the people of this nation shoulder burdens that should have been shed years ago. I wish today’s difficulties did not exist. But we must endure if we are to reach the good side of our future,” – President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola A Tinubu,” he wrote on Instagram.
Seyi’s appeal, however, did not go down well with Nigerians on X (formerly Twitter).
While some users tackled him over his “opulence lifestyle”, others wondered if “patience” in Tinubu’s government would pay their bills or feed them
