Hip hop artiste, Olamide, has released the visuals to his latest hit song ‘Science Student’.
The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) recently issued a ‘Not To Be Broadcast’ (NTBB) notice on the single, owing to its controversial lyrics.
Many criticised the song for promoting drug abuse, although its creator says the intended aim was the opposite.
Following the release of the video, fans of the rapper — and curious persons — took to Google to watch the new video, making ‘Olamide Science Student video’ a top trending search term.
Tiwa Savage death hoax
In the last couple of weeks, there have been a number of celebrity death hoaxes making the rounds. The latest victim is singer-songwriter, Tiwa Savage.
According to the viral hoax, Tiwa died of a heart failure last Saturday.
The singer debunked the rumour by sharing a screenshot of the fake news on her Instagram page. In the post, she wrote, ”Mama J never die yet ooo”.
After refuting the hoax, fans searched Google for more information about the matter, making ‘Tiwa Savage‘ a top trending search term.
Neymar’s injury
Brazilian professional footballer Neymar da Silva Santos, commonly known as Neymar, sustained a leg injury during a Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 3-0 win over Marseille.
Reports indicate that the Brazilian forward cracked a metatarsal bone and might have to undergo surgery, which will keep in off the field for six to eight weeks, ruling him out of the upcoming PSG’ Champions League match against Real Madrid.
Football fans raced to Google to search for updates about the player’s health.
Sridevi’s death
Bollywood movie star Sridevi Kapoor died from accidental drowning in Dubai. Sridevi was found in her hotel bathtub in an unconscious state on Saturday.
Sridevi was considered one of the few Indian female superstars capable of huge box-office success and appeared in nearly 300 films over five decades.
Her Nigerian fans took to Google to get updates about Sridevi’s life, death, and funeral.
