SAIDA BOJ’S CONTROVERSIAL REMARKS
Saida Boj, the influencer whose real name is Sarah Idaji Ojone, was in the public eye last week following her controversial remarks about dating and sex.
Saida said she deserves to be paid for being “beautiful”, adding that any man who gives her N20 million will be allowed to “explore” any part of her body.
She also described men as “cheap”, adding that she is “always happy” when women divorce their husbands after a failed marriage.
Saida’s remarks, however, sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users heavily criticised the influencer for misleading young women, others defended her.
SEYI VIBEZ SENT AWAY FROM HOME AT 15
The Nigerian singer revealed that his family asked him to leave home at 15 because of difficult conditions.
The 23-year-old said his family advised him to hustle and survive on his own than to “die” living with them.
“I left home when I was 15. Things were difficult in the ghetto, so I had to make way for myself. Even my own family freed me. They said, ‘Go, do not die here. It is better you go away and hustle for yourself’,” the singer said.

Yinka Ayefele, the ace Nigerian gospel singer, dismissed claims he is not the biological father of his triplets.
On December 12, 1997, the singer was involved in a car crash that damaged his spinal cord and impeded his ability to walk.
Ayefele also welcomed a set of triplets with Temitope, his wife, in 2019.
The singer recently wondered why people are curious about how he impregnated his wife.
He said “I did not buy my triplets”, clarifying that he impregnated his wife and she gave birth to their triplets naturally.
Ayefele said although a man with a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a woman, his case was rare.
RUTH KADIRI BEGS FG
Ruth Kadiri, the Nollywood actress, drew the federal government’s attention to what she described as the “lack of vaccination in hospitals”.
Last Tuesday, Kadiri said she took her daughter to a hospital for a Cholera vaccine and MMR Varicella Immunization but was informed they had no vaccines to give.
The mother of two lamented that her daughter had not been vaccinated for over a year.
The film star called on nursing mothers to speak out if they face similar challenges.
The actress also pleaded with the federal government to take urgent action to tackle the issue.
“My nurse just informed me that there are no vaccines for babies at the hospital!!! Mothers are you facing the same Vacination issues,” she wrote.
“Federal Government pls look into this. My daughter needs her immunization. One year and counting.
“MMR Varicella! Cholera vaccines! Help our babies o!”
MY LATE HUSBAND AND I DIDN’T DIVORCE, BBNAIJA’S KA3NA CLARIFIES
Kate ‘Ka3na’ Jones, the 2020 Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) housemate, clarified her marital status.
Ka3na had revealed she married a then-64-year-old British man when she was 22.
In 2022, Ka3na disclosed that she had separated from her partner while describing the dissolution as her “toughest decision” that year.
But last week, Ka3na clarified that she was still married to her British partner before his demise.
She said she has no intention of remarrying or “changing my marital status by dropping my husband’s name”.
PATORANKIG VENTURES INTO TECH, GRADUATES FROM HAVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL
The Nigerian singer launched a technology scholarship programme under his non-profit organisation ‘Patoranking Foundation’.
Last week, the singer announced that the programme was initiated to mark his 34th birthday, adding that the scholarship is open to 40 people.
“Embracing technology has been a game changer in my music career and business, visit @patorankingfoundation for more information on how to APPLY! There are 40 spaces available, My Birthday gift to 40 people Only Let’s go!,” he wrote on Instagram.
In another post, the singer revealed that he completed his academic programme at the Havard Business School.
The 34-year-old singer also shared a picture of himself receiving his academic certificate while describing himself as a Havard alumnus.
“Welcome the new @harvardhbs Alumnus this Show… Thank You @anitaelberse,” he wrote.
