Richard Mofe-Damijo says Femi Otedola has agreed to foot the medical bills of Victor Olaotan, Nollywood actor who needs medical help abroad to avert amputation of his legs.
TheCable Lifestyle had reported that Olaotan needs $50,000 for a surgery outside the country.
The ‘Three Wise Men’ star was driving to a movie set when the accident took place around Apple Junction, in Festac, Lagos, in October 2016.
In a post on his Instagram page, the Nollywood actor said Otedola is already in touch with Olaotan’s wife.
“So, a few days ago, I reached out to @femiotedola asking for help for my friend and brother, Victor and just this morning Femi calls to tell me that he would take care of ALL of Victor’s bills. He told me that he is already on it and that his people are talking to Victor’s wife,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Is God not awesome????? I can’t even contain my joy and gratitude. Thank you Femi @femiotedola you are a man and half and thank you to my young friend @gbenroajibade for championing this cause, they don’t make them like you anymore.”
A Gofundme account had been opened to raise funds for him and $6000 has been raised.
The medical procedure is designed to aid recovery from nervous system injury or disorders of the nervous system.
