Rema, the Nigerian singer, has sparked dating rumours with Kelly Akoussah, the London-based Togolese TikTok star.
Speculation that the pair are in a relationship began to go viral on social media after Rema posted a video of the influencer on his Instagram story.
In the video, Kelly is seen listening to one of the songs from ‘Heis’, the singer’s latest album.
He also captioned the video: “my bb @slay_kelly”.
Kelly also reposted the video on her IG story with the caption: “Love you”, alongside a heart emoji.
Their posts have set tongues wagging on social media and further fueled rumours that the two may be involved romantically.
Rema, born Divine Ikubor, was signed into D’Prince’s Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records in 2019.
Since then, he has established himself as one of the prominent names in the African music industry.
Rema won the ‘Best Male Artiste’ and ‘Digital Artiste Of The Year’ at 16th Headies.
In December 2023, Rema was recognised as one of the most exported artistes who dominated the year’s charts in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) on Spotify.
Kelly, on the other hand, broke the internet with her sensational videos and dance style in June 2022.
Since then, the dark-skinned and curvy lady’s popularity on TikTok and Instagram has continued to rise exponentially.
