Showmax has announced that the reunion for ‘The Real Housewives of Lagos’ season 2 will premiere on March 27.
Latasha Ngwube, the media personality, was also announced as the host for this season’s reunion.
Busola Tejumola, the head of content and West Africa Channels of Multichoice Nigeria, spoke about their choice of host in a statement.
She said through her “vibrant energy and insightful approach”, Latasha would help make the reunion “unforgettable”.
“Latasha has been a pillar of Nigerian pop culture for many years now, making her the perfect host to spark engaging conversations among the ladies. With her vibrant energy and insightful approach, this reunion is set to be unforgettable,” she said.
The reality show takes fans on a journey of the glitz and fabulous lives of the seven most luxurious Lagos-based women.
In season 1, viewers were introduced to Chioma Ikokwu, Iyabo Ojo, Laura Ikeji-Kanu, Toyin Lawani, and Mariam Timmer as the show’s cast.
Season 2, however, ushered newbies Faith Morey and Tania Omotayo into the scenes.
Last month, Iyabo Ojo announced that she would not attend the reunion show.
Ojo revealed that her decision stemmed from discussions with loved ones and brands she partners with.
