Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has appeared in public for the first time in 2017.
The monarch who had a health scare in early December 2016 attended church with Prince Philip, grandson Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.
The 90-year-old monarch reportedly suffered a heavy cold over the holidays which forced her to miss church services on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Having shaken off the lingering respiratory illness, she shared banter with admirers on Sunday as she attended St. Mary Magdalene church on her Sandringham estate.
Apart from Prince William and wife, Queen Elizabeth was accompanied by Carol Middleton, James Middleton, and Pippa Middleton.
Queen Elizabeth was last seen in public on December 9, when she hosted the ambassador of Liberia for a private audience at Buckingham Palace.
