Yul Edochie, the Nigerian actor, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing controversy involving Psquare — Peter and his twin brother Paul Okoye.

The dispute between the brothers, which began around 2017, led to their split as each pursued a solo career. Though they reunited in November 2021, their reconciliation was short-lived.

Recently, Paul confirmed another fallout, accusing Peter of orchestrating his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Peter, however, denied the allegations. He also accused Jude, their older brother, of diverting millions of dollars from their joint account into a secret company.

The public spat between the brothers left fans both shocked and disappointed.

Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate and Labour Party flag bearer, separately visited the Okoye brothers. During his visit, he was seen advising them, with the conversation seemingly concluding with an understanding nod.

Edochie took to Instagram on Thursday to disclose that he supports Psquare’s decision to remain separated if it brings them happiness.

The controversial actor added that their well-being is more important than public expectations.

“I see people say, ‘Rudeboy, go and make peace with your brother’, ‘Mr P, go and make peace with your brother’, I just laugh. Many people still do not understand that sometimes the real peace comes from staying apart,” he wrote.

“Sometimes even some family members have to be blocked and just have to relate with some people from a distance to have peace.

“Block anybody that needs to be blocked so that you can have peace. Don’t look back. Fight for yourself and stay alive. It’s good to see P-Square together. But if they have to stay apart to be happy and alive for us, let them stay apart. We love them regardless.”
