Rotimi, the ‘Power’ actor, and Vanessa Mdee, his Tanzanian lover, have welcomed their second child — a girl — together.
The Hollywood star announced the birth of his baby girl via an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Rotimi shared a video of himself and his little family, holding hands together whilst announcing the baby’s name.
“I Still Can’t Wrap My Mind To Think I’m Here To Announce The Birth Of My Daughter Imani! I’m Overwhelmed With Love Today 🙏🏽,” he wrote.
“@vanessamdee You’re Nothing Short Of A Superhero! Our Second Child Together & Seven Now Has A Little Sister To Watch Over🥺💙.
“God You Have Poured Blessings On Me So Many Times So I Will Scream My Praises Back To You! I’m Forever Grateful.”
In another post, Vanessa shared the same video while appreciating God for her “bundle of joy.”
“…And then we are 4🙏🏽🙌🏾🤍🥺 What shall I render to JEHOVA🙏🏽,” she captioned the post.
“FATHER GOD JESUS CHRIST MASTER HOLY SPIRIT THANK YOU YOU’VE BEEN SOOOOOO GOOD TO ME .
“Our Princess is here… 💕Imani Enioluwa Akinosha💕 you have my whole heart🤍🙏🏽.”
Rotimi and Mdee met at an Essence Magazine Festival after-party in New Orleans.
In December 2020, the pair announced their engagement.
It remains to be seen if the lovebirds are married. This is just as Mdee now bears ‘Mrs A’ on Instagram.
They welcomed their first child – a boy – named Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho in September 2021.
