The project comes on the back of the singer’s recent controversy with Ogun state officials, which led to his arrest and arraignment on a five-count charge, including assault.

Portable had allegedly led a gang in a violent attack on Ogun officials who attempted to seal his bar due to a lack of approved permits.

The singer was declared wanted on February 18 but turned himself in the next day. He was later granted a N2 million bail and his case was adjourned until March 5.

After his bail, Portable reached out to Fuji musician Pasuma to sponsor his trip to Mecca for Hajj.

He said he wants to perform Hajj to thank God.

Portable gained fame in December 2021 with his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh,’ featuring Olamide and Poco Lee. Since then, he has remained in the public eye for controversial reasons.
