It is arguably a #SuperFriday on the Nigerian music scene as three big superstars are out with new, eagerly-awaited material.

Davido and Simi have released their latest solo efforts, ‘Nwa Baby’ and ‘Dun Care’ respectively, while Tekno is featured on ‘Freak Me’, a new single by Ciara, an American artiste.

Here are the three must-listen #SuperFriday songs in no particular order.

The Afrobeats singer has released a Fresh VDM-produced track which sees him singing a variation of Akon’s ‘Locked Up’ in the pre-chorus.

“I was locked up (you won’t let me out, but you let me out),” Davido sings.

Simi’s new effort is titled ‘I Dun Care’.

On ‘I Dun Care’, Simi sings of her nonchalant attitude towards people who talk about her and her lover.

‘Freak Me’, Ciara’s follow-up to ‘Level Up’, features the impressive singer-producer Tekno.

On the song, the American veers completely from her trademark sound to embrace an Afrobeats/tropical flavour while Tekno does his usual justice to the song with his infectious hook.

Ciara says she has “been dying to share” the song with her fans.
