Portable, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, says his life is being threatened by a man he identified as Ija Omode Yusuf.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, the singer claimed that Yusuf, who used to be his record label boss, gave him a 7-day ultimatum “before he kills me”.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner, who recently celebrated his birthday, also alleged that last December, Yusuf had stripped him naked while accusing him of stealing an iPhone and a tricycle.
“Last December, Ija Omode Yusuf stripped me naked and accused me of stealing an iPhone and a commercial tricycle (Keke Maruwa) and he had been threatening to kill me,” he said.
“They want to kill me. They have given me seven days. He has asked them to kill me. He went to report me to the police, he doesn’t know policemen are my fans. He reported me to soldiers, soldiers guard me.”

The singer, whose name is Habeeb Okikiola, gained traction with his hit track ‘Zazoo Zeh’ featuring Olamide, the rapper, and Poco Lee, the dancer.
He has been in the news for controversial reasons since he came into the limelight.
In January, Black Cinderella, the Kenyan radio presenter, had called him out for sharing videos of his moments with ladies in the East African country.
Portable had also threatened to use charm on anyone who comes to raid his house in search of drugs. This was after operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested some of his colleagues in the music industry in February.
