The command condemned the act as “extremely dangerous,” emphasising that such behaviour could have led to fatal outcomes for the influencer and innocent members of the public.
It was further disclosed that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a thorough investigation.
The statement also highlighted a warning from Olohundare Jimoh, the commissioner of police, Lagos command, directed at social media influencers and the general public against using online platforms to promote or engage in illegal and dangerous conduct.
