PHOTOS: Peter Obi pays condolence visit to Junior Pope’s family in Enugu

Peter Obi has paid his last respects to Junior Pope Odonwodo, the late Nollywood actor.

Pope passed away in April after a boat accident on the River Niger in Asaba, Delta state.

He was buried on Friday in Nsukka, Igbo-Etiti LGA in Enugu state.

A funeral service was held at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe.

In a post via X, the Labour Party (LP) 2023 presidential candidate said he arrived in Enugu on Saturday morning.

Obi said that he visited the actor’s family to “personally and sincerely condole” with them.

The former governor shared photos of himself dressed in an all-black attire.

He is seen in the company of Kenneth Okonkwo, the actor-turned-politician.
