Seyi Makinde, Oyo state governor, was at the wedding dinner of Hauwa, daughter of Bala Mohammed, Bauchi governor, and Mohammed, son of Lawal Adamu, emir of Azara in Nasarawa.
Makinde shared a slew of photos taken from the couple’s wedding event, which he said he attended on Friday.
“Last night, I was honoured to be the Father of the Day at the wedding dinner of my goddaughter, Dr. Hauwa Bala Mohammed, and her husband, Mohammed Lawal Adamu,” the Oyo governor wrote on Saturday.
“I rejoice with my brother, His Excellency Bala Mohammed’s family, and wish Hauwa and Mohammed peace and joy in their marriage.”
Among those spotted at the dinner are former President Goodluck Jonathan and Peter Obi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2019 vice-presidential candidate.
