Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on Tuesday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina state.
The excited corp members serving in Daura were excited o meet with Buhari who is in his hometown for the eid mubarak celebrations.
The president also described the NYSC as a worthy scheme while revealing that he constantly thanks Yakubu Gowon, retired general and former military head of state, for initiating the scheme.
“Youth Corpers serving in Daura visited me at home this afternoon. Every time I see Gen Yakubu Gowon, I thank him for the NYSC, a worthy scheme that allows young Nigerians to see their country in new ways”, Buhari said on his Twitter account.
