Ayo Edebiri, the Nigerian-American actress, captured the hearts of many at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) on Sunday night with her graceful and elegant demeanour.

Edebiri, who in January, won her first Golden Globe award for her role in the hit dramedy ‘The ‘Bear’, made a stunning entrance at the BAFTAs ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London, looking radiant in a stylish peach column gown.

The award-winning actress wore an award-worthy outfit that turned heads and raised eyes.

The film star, who is quickly becoming a fashion icon, posed on the red carpet in the stunning peach-coloured Bottega Veneta gown.

Edebiri also complimented the classic floor-length dress with white opera gloves and a textured fur coat that grazed the ground behind her.

At the BAFTAs, Edebiri was up for the ‘EE Rising Star Award’. She, however, lost the category to Mia McKenna-Bruce.

The actress was born in Boston on October 3, 1995. She is the daughter of a Barbadian mother and a Nigerian father.

Her journey in entertainment began in high school while taking part in open mic challenges.

She attended New York University, where she initially intended to study teaching before switching her major to Dramatic Writing.

In addition to ‘The Bear’, Edebiri starred in the 2023 teen comedy ‘Bottoms’.

She also served as a writer on the FX horror comedy ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ in 2022.
