A video showing the concert stage collapsing during the rapper Odumodublvck’s performance has surfaced.
The accident, it is understood, occurred on Saturday during the rapper’s performance at Sol Beach in Elegusi, Lagos.
In the now-viral video, stage equipment can be seen crashing as concertgoers panickly flee for safety.
It is not yet clear if any concertgoer sustained injury from the accident.
The concert, organised by Nativeland, featured performances by artistes including Bloody Civilian, DJ Tunez, Qing Madi, and Ayanfe.
Days ago, Odumodublvck had faced intense criticism for knocking off the cellphone of a fan who attempted to record him.
The rapper has since been in the news as several social media users called him out for alleged assault.
Odumodublvck recently recounted how Don Jazzy, the music producer, gave him $10,000 during one of their meetings and told him to keep all the royalties from their collaborative song.
Born Tochukwu Ojogwu, Odumodublvck is known for his unique stage performance and genre mixes.
In 2022, he signed a deal with NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings
In the same year, he put out his first single titled ‘Picanto’ featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan Ibile.
The rapper then released ‘Declan Rice’, a chart-topping single named after the English footballer.
