The singer shared the news on Thursday in a tweet.

Sharing a copy of the result of the CT scan said to have been taken by Ojah B, Oxlade said the victim could no longer control his fingers.

“My brother has a swelling in his brain and he can’t control his fingers, thanks to the Nigerian police,” he tweeted.

“Thank you Nigerian government for failing the youth. I am lost for words right now, but please keep my brother in your prayers”.

TheCable had earlier reported that the singer sustained injuries while participating in the ongoing #EndSARS protest in Surulere area of Lagos.

The protest, which started on a peaceful note, turned violent with demonstrators and security operatives engaging themselves in a heated exchange.

After his arrest in Surulere, Ojah B was allegedly transferred to Panti and was eventually released after the intervention of Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the house of representatives, and Desmond Elliot, a member of the Lagos house of assembly representing the Surulere constituency.
