A young man and four of his friends were found dead in Edo after reportedly consuming fish pepper soup prepared by his ex-girlfriend.
On Wednesday evening, an X user shared videos showing the lifeless bodies of the five young persons allegedly poisoned by the lady.
The graphic video footage shows the shirtless bodies in different rooms, with police officers investigating the scene.
The user claimed the lady allegedly mixed a poisonous substance into pepper soup meant for her ex-boyfriend, who unknowingly shared it with his friends.
“A girl attempted to poison her boyfriend by putting poison in pepper soup, but four of his friends ended up eating it with him. Tragically, all four friends have now passed away,” the user wrote.
The incident has provoked outrage on social media platforms, with some questioning the motive behind the heinous act. Others also claimed the accused lady sought revenge after the breakup.
