Davido Adeleke, the award-winning singer, has mocked Bamidele Adeleke, his cousin, following the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial primary election in Osun state.

The pair fell out after Bamidele declared his interest to run for the election against Ademola Adeleke, his uncle who is a former senator.

On Tuesday, Ademola was declared winner of the party’s election after garnering a total of 1887 votes.

Dotun Babayemi, Akinbade Fatai and Akin Ogunbiyi each had no vote while Bamidele polled one vote. Sanya Omirin had four votes.

Shortly after results of the election were announced, Bamidele took to his Twitter page to appreciate his supporters while reacting to the outcome of the poll.

“Here’s an important message to all supporters and well wishers of the Dele Adeleke gubernatorial campaign,” he had written.

‘Submission is the willingness to give up our right to ourselves, to freely surrender our insistence on having our own way all the time………. submission is not about authority and it is not obedience; it is all about relationships of love and respect. The silent revolution continues…..”

Reacting to the tweet, Davido taunted his cousin for using the word “supporters” in his statement.

“You’re talking to the one person wey vote you abi…I no understand which one be all supporters. Cousin Dele, frog jump loading,” he wrote.

In January, the duo tackled each other on Twitter after Davido called Bamidele out over his gubernatorial ambition.
