The protesting students disrupted activities inside and outside the school premises as they blocked the main gate.

They also barricaded the Ondo-Ore expressway, leaving commuters plying the axis stranded for hours.

Some of the aggrieved students accused the management of the institution of being insensitive to their plights.

The students also claimed despite the hike in tuition, they have been struggling to get water and electricity.

In viral photos from the protest, some of the students were seen chanting solidarity songs while displaying empty buckets.

The students said the absence of electricity and water has made it difficult for them to study.
