Olayinka Oladiran also known as K’Ola has been announced as the winner of the MTV Base VJ search.
The 23-year-old from Abeokuta was among four finalists in the heated competition for a N20m contract prize.
Tochukwu Onwubiko , Tomiwa Olorunfemi and Grace and Glory Danbaki, twin girls, were among the finalists.
Thousands of young hopefuls entered into the competition from all over Nigeria, but K’Ola’s amazing personality, presence and confidence earned her the prize.
The other finalists also went home with contracts and will be representing MTV Base as VJs on new shows coming to the channel.
“I feel very blessed by this experience and I’ve learnt that any dream that is worth having is worth pursuing”, said K’Ola.
She has joined the ranks of Ehiz in the MTV Base crew and she’ll be presenting “Newish” and “Word on the Street” on MTV Base.
