Olakunle Churchill, an ex-husband of Tonto Dikeh, has welcomed his first child — a boy — with Rosy Meurer, Nigerian actress.

The lovebirds took to their individual social media handles to break the good news on Tuesday.

Churchill expressed his excitement in a post wherein he shared a photo of Meurer kissing the leg of the newborn baby.

The businessman added that the baby’s arrival confirmed the “decision I made two years ago is not a mistake but a divine ordination.”

“It’s a moment of bliss and Celebration to us as I announce the coming of King Churchill Junior…from my formative years I have always had the royal tag of ‘King’ for my kids to be greater than the father. Ahead of the mother’s day, I say a big congratulations to my lovely wife for this great testimony. This decision I made two years ago is not a mistake but a divine ordination,” he wrote on Instagram.

“My little King, welcome to the world, a great addition to the family. You shall grow with the wisdom of God, divinely protected and flowing with the oil of Grace. My son ‘King Churchill’, my ernest prayer is that you will be greater than your father and your peers in all attainments.”

On her part, Meurer described their bundle of joy as her greatest blessing and pride, adding that “God is involved” in the union.

“The first day of your life was the best day of mine. Welcome King Churchill Jnr. You are my greatest blessing and pride. Thank you for making me a mother. God is involved,” she wrote.

The pair had made the headlines in February after Churchill announced his marriage to Meurer, his former personal assistant.

The development had stirred intense controversies, with many accusing Meurer of being responsible for the collapse of Churchill’s marriage to Dikeh.
