Uthman took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to pen an emotional message wherein he promised to keep his dad “safe in my heart, so that you are with me in every way.”

“Dad, I won’t immortalize you in the stars, because they fade away. I won’t remember you with a poem, for it will be forgotten one day. I will just keep you safe in my heart, so that you are with me in every way. I miss you,” he wrote.

TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported how Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, died of heart failure at a hospital in the Lekki axis of Lagos state.

The deceased was said to have driven himself to the hospital in the early hours of the day after experiencing intense breathing difficulty but passed away a few hours after.

Obama DMW was buried on Wednesday in the Epe axis of Lagos state, according to Islamic rights.

Until his death, the talent manager was the founder of Obama Music Worldwide (OMW), a record label.

He was also a close associate to Davido, the award-winning Nigerian musician.

Before OMW, the deceased floated ‘Holla At Your Boy’ after his return from Canada but the record label collapsed after the death of his partner.

Davido is, however, yet to react to Obama DMW’s demise as of the time of this report.
