Kayode Odumosu, Nollywood veteran actor who is popularly known as Pa Kasumu, has said he wouldn’t feature in any movie till he gets proper treatment.
The 63-year-old actor, who’s been battling with a heart related ailment, told Punch that he was tempted to accept a movie offer he received three months ago but opted to give priority to his health.
The Ogun state indigene said that he had earlier traveled to India hoping to get treatment but he was only examined in the hospital.
“I spent just nine days in India. I thought that I would receive full treatment. But when I had got there, they told me that it was for evaluation. Then they asked me to come back after two months.
“Later, after I had recovered from the illness, I started thinking about how to get funds for my second journey to India. But I couldn’t find my international passport and that of the nurse that accompanied me on the first trip.”
“I see double and images are always blurred,” Odumosu said , explaining that his eyes were in worse condition than two years ago.
Pa Kasumu, who was first reported ill in 2013 when he suffered a partial stroke that affected his eyes and memory, said he wishes to get a new passport to enable his return to India for proper treatment.
